Tiziana Faitini

Tiziana Faitini
Project Coordinator

She is Assistant Professor in Political Philosophy at UniTrento, and beforehand research fellow in Mainz and Erfurt.
She was the project manager of the Jean-Monnet project “MoSE - Towards a More Social Europe" and is the PI of the PNRR-PRIN project “Beyond Workism and a Work-Centered Society”.
She worked as teacher trainer and research consultant on learning ecosystems and innovative teaching methodologies in the humanities for secondary schools.
She wrote extensively on the transformations of the world of work, and their impacts on the definition of citizenship and education.

He is Professor of Political Philosophy at UniTrento. He was the Coordinator of national and international research projects, among which “Euro-Ethos. Exploring the Foundations of a Shared European Pluralistic Ethos” (EC 6th Framework Programme), and the Jean-Monnet project “MoSE - Towards a More Social Europe (2020-2023)”.
In 2013-2018 he was a member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies and of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, and from January to June 2018 served as President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
He launched and coordinates the Open Council of Europe Academic Networks (OCEAN), uniting universities, research institutions and scholars from the Council of Europe´s 46 member states around the shared goal of human rights, democracy, and the rule of law.

Louisa Rosemary Parks

She is Professor in Political Sociology at UniTrento and beforehand at the University of Lincoln (2015-2017). She is team member of the Horizon Europe project “Towards a new era of Representative Democracy – Activating European Citizens’ Trust in Time of Crises and Polarization (ActEU) (2023-2026) and of the Erasmus+/Jean Monnet Action project “Green Deal Network (The European Green Deal: Governing the EU’s Transition towards Climate Neutrality and Sustainability (2022 - 2025)”, focused on the climatic crisis. She wrote extensively on climate change and social movements.   

Marco Brunazzo

Marco Brunazzo 

Professor of European Studies at UniTrento, he was Director of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence at the same University between 2011 and 2016. Between 2008 and 2012 he coordinated the Jean Monnet Module EUSIM “Simulation Module: How Does the EU Work?”, and received a Jean Monnet Chair titled “Toward a More Flexible Europe?”. He wrote extensively on different EU-related topics, such as Regional Policy and multilevel governance, the EU political system, teaching EU studies through simulation games, the role of Italy in the EU

Giuseppe Zorzi

Giuseppe Zorzi

He is a high school teacher of History and Philosophy, with experience working as visiting lecturer in some Austrian schools. Since 2021 he has served as the Coordinator of the “Schools Beyond Regions and Borders” project. In this capacity, he has enlarged the network of partner schools to a total number of seven EU and non-EU schools.  

Sara Lorenzini

Sara Lorenzini

Professor in History at UniTrento, she was holder of a 2018-2021 Jean Monnet Chair (“Globalizing Europe / Europeanizing the World. The History of the EEC/EU from a Global Perspective”, 2018-2021), Coordinator of the Jean Monnet project “DICE – Democracy in the Construction of Europe” (2018-2020) and holder of the Jean Monnet Module “Going Global: The History of EC/EU external relations 1947-2004”. She is currently working on a project on female leadership and the origin of the concept of sustainable development.
In July 2023 the Module Jean Monnet EUREAD (on the History of European Integration. European Leadership and the Making of Europe), was selected by the European Commission.

Jens Woelk

Jens Woelk

Professor for Comparative Constitutional Law (“Euregio Chair”) at UniTrento, he regularly works as expert for the EU Commission (TAIEX, DG Enlargements) and is member of the Group of Independent Experts, Congress of Local and Regional Authorities – Council of Europe (European Charter of Local Self-Government). His research interests include EU Law, Cross-border and interregional cooperation, comparative federalism and regionalism.

Paolo Bonafede

Paolo Bonafede

He is Researcher in the Philosophy of Education and Pedagogy of Digital Sociality at UniTrento. His main field of research concerns Media Education studies and digital citizenship. He is member of the Center of research in Media, Education and Technology of the University of Bologna, and collaborated in the Jean-Monnet project “MoSE - Towards a More Social Europe (2020-2023)”.

Catherine-Elizabeth Riley

Professor of Linguistics at UniTrento, she works on Content Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) and Learner Autonomy, Learner training and Learner strategy. She was project coordinator of Intl-Uni (“The Challenges of the Multilingual and Multicultural Learning Space in the International University”) and member of the project “SPEAQ – Sharing Perspectives on Enhancing and Assuring Quality” (both funded by the Life Learning Programme–Erasmus).

Luisa Broli

Luisa Broli

BA in Law, PhD in Psychology, she teaches Law and International Relations at the Istituto Tecnico Casale in Vigevano (PV). She has been working as teacher trainer in several programs promoted by the Minister of Education since 2013, and is a member of the ANFIS board. Her teacher training activities focus on active citizenship best practices - especially debate methodology - and class management strategies.   

Giulia Valpione

Giulia Valpione
She is a postdoctoral researcher at UniTrento and has previously worked and studied in Germany, France and Brazil. She collaborated in the Jean-Monnet project “MoSE - Towards a More Social Europe (2020-2023)”. She published extensively on political philosophy in German Idealism and Romanticism and on the history of women philosophers. Her current research focuses on political ecology.
 

Daniela Ferrari

Daniela Ferrari
She is a secondary school teacher of English and a translator for various international organizations, including FAO and the EU institutions. She has experience in managing innovative teaching projects in secondary schools at national and international level. In particular, she has assisted in the coordination of the civic education project “Schools Beyond Regions and Borders” from its inception. As part of the GrACE team, she is in charge of project management, as well as of communication and dissemination activities in both Italian and English
