Matteo Ferrari
Associate Professor of Agri-food Law, Faculty of Law and Center for Agriculture, Food and the Environment, University of Trento.
He holds a phd in comparative law from the University of Trento.
Has been awarded a Marie Curie Global Fellowship (2011-2013) and a Jean Monnet Module (2020-2023). He teaches agrifood law and wine law at the University of Trento.
Has been adjunct professor at the University of Strasbourg, teaching wine law, as well a visiting professor at McGill Faculty of Law, teaching comparative food law.
Conducted research at McGill University, Penn University, Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, Boston University, Melbourne University.
Is a member of the working group for the project Legal Structure of Agricultural Enterprises, jointly developed by UNIDROIT, FAO and IFAD.
Is a member of the managing board of the Italian Food Law Association and a corresponding member of the Scientific Community of Agrarian.
Published four books and many articles in peer-review journals on issues related to agri-food law.
