On this page you will find all activities scheduled within the Chair according to the nature and target.

A. Interdisciplinary university courses for undergraduate students:
 

1. Course on AI and the Law (Law School)

providing students (national and international) with a 42-hour academic course on EU and comparative AI law (in Italian), addressing a gap in legal studies and improving the career of undergraduate students.

2. Course on Law and Ethics for AI (Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science)

providing students (national and international) with a 48-hour academic course on EU and comparative AI law and ethics (in English), giving interdisciplinary information to enable them to perform their future job more consciously.

3. Introduction to the law and ethics of AI (School of Innovation)

providing students (national and international) with a 6-hour academic introductory course on EU AI law and ethics (in English). Interdisciplinarity and comparative approaches will be favoured.

The papers collected here have been selected at the conclusion of the courses "Law and Ethics in Artificial Intelligence" and "Law and Artificial Intelligence". Link

B. University courses for postgraduate students (Master and PhD)

1. Module on AI and the Law (PhD in Comparative and European legal Studies)

providing PhD students (national and international) with a 6-hour module on EU AI law, providing information that will be crucial in addressing the major legal issues of the future (in English or Italian, depending on the attending students).

2. Introduction to the law and ethics of AI (Master in Communication of Science and Innovation)

providing students (national and international) with a 4-hour introductory module on EU AI law and ethics, helping them to address critical future issues and build stronger skills for related communication.

C. Meeting the expert events, open to general public

Three 3-hours events each year providing students and the general public with basic knowledge on AI and its legal and ethical framework.
University and PhD students may have an active role in the events.
An important part will always be reserved for EU law.
