The primary instruments to achieve these aims will be a series of conferences, workshops, incubators and summer schools that will be held in Trento over the course of the three years.

These will also include training workshops for civil servants from states in the Eurasian region, aiming to provide them with insight into how the EU works and how it understands international relations.

It will encourage young scholars by ensuring that there be a balanced representation in all academic activity as well as through two summer schools to be organised for current and recent PhD students.

The ensuing publications from the academic conferences will help set the agenda for academic and policy debates about the EU and geopolitics.
