Assistant Professor of Agri-food Law, Faculty of Law and Center for Agriculture, Food and the Environment, University of Trento. Holds a phd in comparative law from the University of Trento. Has been awarded a Marie Curie Global Fellowship (2011-2013). Teaches Comparative food law and Wine law at the University of Trento, Wine law at the University of Strasbourg, International food standards at the CIHEAM. Has been a visiting professor at McGill Faculty of Law, teaching comparative food law. Conducted research at McGill University, Penn University, Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, Boston University, Melbourne University. Member of the managing board of the Italian Food Law Association, a corresponding member of the Scientific Community of Agrarian Law and a founding member of the US Academy of Food Law and Policy. Published three books and many articles in peer-review journals on issues related to agri-food law
